Black Iris Hotel - Madaba

Conveniently located about a kilometer from the iconic St George's church and the archaeological parks.

Breakfast was underwhelming, with only dry bread and little cheese available. The lack of staff during meal times left plates empty despite arriving early. The bathroom needed maintenance, with a fixed shower head that splashed water all around, and the windows provided poor sound insulation, likely due to their sliding design.

Thanks a lot for a real good stay during our visit in Jordan. The room is a nice size and well-equipped on the main level. This hotel offers quiet location close to Church, the main sightseeing places, and the centre with shops.

The location in a tourist area was marvellous and convenient. The staff were very pleasant and assisted us with free parking. The breakfast was included and had lots of meals.

Unfortunately, the breakfast options were quite limited, with very few selections available. The lack of staff during breakfast hours left us feeling unattended. We struggled with weak Wi-Fi that barely worked in our room, forcing us to go to the common area for a signal.

Absolutely loved the big breakfast with homemade goodies! The super nice team and even provided free water and tea anytime. Just a heads up, there was only one toaster for breakfast.

We loved black iris! The owner diana and her team were super helpful with recommendations for things to do all over jordan. The room was spacious, and the shower had great pressure. Plus, the breakfast was delicious with a ton of options, including vegan meals.

The staff was accommodating, going out of their way to assist us and even offering delicious vegan options during breakfast. The room was not only spacious but also meticulously clean, great to relax comfortably after our daily adventures.

We did find that parking can be limited during busy periods, a bit of a hassle.

A warm oasis in Madaba

Upon arriving late at night, we were instantly welcomed with complimentary water and genuine smiles. The hotel felt clean and modern, and the staff were helpful in organizing our transport to Petra. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety that kept us energized for our adventures.

The location is convenient, just a short walk from attractions and dining options. The rooms are spacious and meticulously clean, with a fantastic shower that was especially refreshing after exploring. The breakfast included delicious choices, particularly the pasta, and free drinks were available throughout the day. Parking can be limited at busy times, and noise from nearby areas could be an issue for light sleepers. There was only one toaster during breakfast service, which caused some delays.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for one night, and it was clean, furnished, and pretty comfy. The shower was amazing, had great pressure and I could adjust the temperature perfectly. It was nice having a little refrigerator too. The location was super convenient for exploring Madaba on foot. Just wish I could have stayed longer!

The room was cozy with a private bathroom and had a walk-in shower that I really enjoyed. They provided body soap, shampoo, and even a refrigerator. I appreciated having a seating area to relax. The view from the room was great and the heating made it comfy.

It was a suitable option for a swift visit in Madaba with best value. The rooms were perfectly clean, and the staff friendly and helpful, making my stay pleasant. For anyone visiting, ask about the free water and tea available throughout the day.

Wi-Fi was fast, but the room was too warm without AC.
